To all,

I love that I can play IF games during my lunch break on my iDevice.  However, I noticed that when I launch it on iOS 8b2 it behaves very poorly.  Is there any indication that continued work will go into iFrotz, or has the project just up and died?

Many Thanks!

Mike

I'm working on an update that fixes a bunch of bugs and adds iOS7/8 look and feel.

However, apps built with IOS 6 SDK should continue to work correctly (and look like iOS 6 UI) in IOS 8, so it is an iOS bug that Frotz is misbehaving in iOS8b2.
I'll investigate when I have time and file a report to Apple.

It looks like Frotz 1.6 is unplayable in landscape mode in iOS 8, but portrait seems to work okay if you just tap the keyboard show/hide button to dismiss and reshow the keyboard, the text area resizes so it no longer displays under neath the keyboard.

All these iOS updates must be frustrating to a developer, there's no telling what they'll break next because Apple doesn't seem to worry at all about backwards compatibility (in fact, these days, no one seems to). You have to keep updating the app just so it continues to run...
