I am rediscovering Frotz and really enjoying it- somehow in iOS it seems like the perfect fit.
I have a couple questions:
I read the argument against making nested folders etc. in the contents folder.  That's fine.  But then I thought of editing some of my game titles to give myself a reminder of the subject and such, plus I have some games that imported with the file name as the title and I would like to fix that.  Is there any way to edit the game titles?  The only way that I've seen is during the file transfer importing process, there is a window for entering the game title.  I've tried this several times, and still my titles show up as the imported file name rather than the title I inputted ("BBANZAI" instead of "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai" for example).
I'm also wondering if anyone knows how to convert into a .z file?  I've seen some games online which I'd love to import into Frotz but they are only in formats other than .z; is there anyway to convert these (I suspect not, but thought I would ask).

By the way, I'm using version 1.5.3

Thanks!

In the prefs ((i) button), turn on "Story Info Editing".  Then you can manually edit the name and other details of each story using the 'Edit' button in the upper right of the screen which appears when you view the story details page (disclosure button in Story List on iPhone, details pane on iPad).

Frotz supports .z#/.zblorb files as well as glulx games (.ulx, .gblorb).  Any other formats were written in completely different systems and are not currently supported, although TADS2/3 support is planned eventually, and maybe Magnetic Scrolls, but that's a ways off.

Regards,
Craig
