Passport Photo Studio makes it easy to create and print unlimited passport photos from home. Simply stand in front of a light background and use your digital camera to take a photo. The software then makes it extremely simple to size, adjust and print a picture that meets official requirements for the USA or United Kingdom. Studio photography is by appointment only for official use as required by AFI. Examples include squadron-level and above chain of command boards (commander, deputy/vice commander, command chief, first sergeant, etc.), special duty assignment photos, and promotion or awards packages where a photo is required.
Photo studio appointments are scheduled online through a third-party site called Setmore. Appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays for head-and-shoulder portraits and Wednesdays for full-length portraits.
Chain of command photo prints will be provided for leadership and the squadron level and above (i.e. commander, deputy/vice commander, command chief and first sergeants, etc.) and other identifiable positions such as SARC, JAG, ADC, etc. where visual identification is required.
The studio is open for official only passport and ISO Prep from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday on a walk-in basis. The studio is closed daily from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Photos must be taken in clothing normally worn on a daily basis. You cannot wear a uniform, clothing that looks like a uniform, or camouflage attire. The Hill AFB Public Affairs Photo Studio provides official head and shoulders and full-length portraits. We are located on the west side of base in building 1267. Customers can park and enter through the doors on the east side of the building.

The 316th Wing Public Affairs Studio supports members assigned to Joint Base Andrews and units with an active support agreement. Studio photography is by appointment only. No Walk-Ins available.
As of 20 January 2009, all Marines utilizing MCB Camp Pendleton Combat Camera's photo studio will be required to provide proof of ht/wt certification prior to a promotion photo being taken. Attached is the ComCam form to be signed by the certifier and provided to the studio. READ: As of this date, Marines without certification will be turned away.
All promotion photos taken prior to 20 January 2009 will still be valid for any selection board convening within a 12 month period of the date the photo was taken. Using these photos will not harm the Marine at the board.
We do not provide hard copies or digital copies for promotion photos. Package photos require a hard copy and are not submitted to MMSB. If you need both, Combat Camera needs a letter of justification from an OIC or Commanding Officer.
The Photographer is not responsible for your personal appearance, ribbon placement, or information. We do not clip, tape, or digitally alter photos. It is your responsibility to be squared away before taking your photo.
Digital Imaging
The Photographic Department provides documentation of all official historical events, command/unit special events, and training. These images are then incorporated into a web style photo gallery compact disk.
NOTE: Chain of command displays are authorized for Commanders from squadron up to wing level in unit hierarchy as well as command chiefs and first sergeants (AFI 35-101). Public Affairs does not have the responsibility or capability to support printed photos,
Passport photos are provided after Official Passport appointments with the Passport Office. Passports photos are only for official passports, tourist passports required for PCS, and applications for Visa for official purposes.
ISOPREP photos require a memorandum from your UDM or outbound assignments justifying your deployment/TDY/PCS. If you are a member of an immediate response force and require an ISOPREP, the memorandum must state that.

All Studio photography is by appointment only and available for official portraits only as required by Official guidance. Personnel must provide any special requirements, such as photograph size, pose, digital only or number of prints, etc., and notify the photographer of the requirements prior to the appointment time.
Photos will not be modified or edited beyond the necessary cropping and minor lighting adjustments in accordance with DoDI 5040.5, Alteration of Official DoD Imagery, and DoDI 5040.02, Visual Information.
Your appointment is officially scheduled upon setting an appointment in our online system, you have sent your completed AF Form 833 to the org box stated above, and you've received a confirmation email from that org box. A PA representative routinely reviews all appointments to ensure they qualify under previously stated guidelines. If an appointment does not meet the requirements, we will be in contact to verify details and amend the appointment as necessary.
This service is provided for military and DoD civilian personnel traveling on government orders requiring a "no-fee" government passport. Dependents requiring a "no-fee" passport for PCS orders are authorized to use the Photo Lab for passport photos. Passport photos are a controlled item, work orders (AF 833) for passport photos must be initiated by MPF outbound assignments or unit mobility office personnel.
Males will wear a civilian-style collared shirt or business attire and females will wear a conservative blouse or business attire. No tank-tops or t-shirts are permitted. Children may wear attire without a collar. Attire white in color is not permitted due to the white background.
Studio Photography
Studio photography is by appointment only and available for official portraits as required by Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Space Force, as well as applications for special duty assignments, official passports, and citizenship applications. Chain of command studio photography will be provided for leadership at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant) as well as quarterly and annual award winners at the group-level and above.
Personnel must know the promotion or award photo requirements such as photo size, number of prints, etc., and notify the photographer of the requirements prior to the appointment time.
Prints are not authorized for Marine or DA customers without proper documentation and justification, nor will they receive emails of photos unless requested by the first sergeant, command sergeant major or commanding officer. Army personnel and guard and reserve members are authorized one print per year. Physical media, to include prints and CDs, will not be supplied to members of units that do not have a support agreement with the Space Base Delta 2 Public Affairs.
Studio appointments will only be made available for the above. PA will not accommodate requests for prints for organization boards below first sergeant level and for FSS boards in high traffic areas. For example, official photo requests are not authorized for shop chiefs, NCOICs, lower-ranking Airmen, etc. This guideline does not apply to quarterly awards boards. Prints for quarterly awards boards will be made for group levels and above.
Studio photographers reserve the right to turn away late appointments, or appointments that arrive 10 minutes after their scheduled start time.
PA will provide prints of USAF and DoD leadership for boards only in squadron, group and wing-level buildings. All subordinate buildings must use other resources to obtain prints for leadership boards.

There is a photo studio located on MCB Camp Lejeune in Bldg. 54 on Lucy Brewer Ave. and on MCAS New River in Bldg. AS-425 on Campbell St. All personnel should walk in for service; we do not make appointments for individual photo studio services. The photo studio will provide command and official photos for all winners of command-sponsored meritorious promotion and NCO/MOQ boards, in accordance with MCO 3104.1B. However, Marines requesting command board, official or any other types of photos for inclusion in meritorious promotion and NCO/MOQ packages will not be supported.
All customers must have all proper paperwork with them and be wearing their full uniform, in accordance with current policy. Dressing rooms are available at the photo studio.
