ifolder client freezing Gnome desktop?

I've been having a lot of problems with the ifolder client freezing the Gnome desktop (running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit).  I have to login to a terminal session and kill the ifolder and simias processes to get the desktop to respond.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Any thoughts on how to debug?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions?

(Also, is anyone working on packaging ifolder for Ubuntu 10.10?)

Same here on Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit. no idea how to solve this.
