hi all, after pitching ifmap pretty hard at interop las vegas this
year i got motivated to clean up and open-source my javascript ifmap
client library, ifmap.js. i just posted links to it and an actual
browser-based client that uses it called jsmap on the ifmapdev.com
documentation page at http://ifmapdev.com/documentation. comments and
suggestions are greatly appreciated. links to the project pages on
github are below:

Very cool!  I'll try to check it out soon.  How do you deal with server responses?

in ifmap.js, the raw serialized xml is passed as a string to a
callback function for the actual client front-end to deal with. jsmap,
which provides such a frontend, just pretty-prints the xml to a
logging pane. nothing fancy. jsmap is meant to be kind of a
demonstration and educational tool.
