Here are two features I would LOVE to see.
If anyone else has any ideas please add them!!!

1) Video Pass thru

I convert videos in a large batch. Some are already properly encoded
to play on my devices (just need metadata added). Others need to be
properly encoded. As it stands now I have to do 2-3 different
conversion processes. I would LOVE to be able to add 5 videos... tell
iflicks that I want them to play on Apple TV2 and it just knows what
to do for fastest conversion.

2) ability to edit all itunes fields

artist, Album artist, Album, Episode ID, etc (as well as sort fields)
Playing videos on ipad via homsharing.... if the fields aren't exactly
the same it messes everything up....
Please see this discussion here for more info........

After a month of messing around I finally got everything working....
BUT iflicks can't edit the fields that need info so after iflicks does
it's thing (on new videos).... I end up having to go back and add
episode IDs and other stuff

3)

I will assume this project is quietly moving.....away from peoples
minds?
This used to be an active group but it appears not to be so anymore.

Sad to see it go this way.........

Maybe the reason for lack of activity is that the app is mature, works
as advertised, and does not have any obvious defects?

Jendrik's done a fantastic job of building and maintaining iFlicks in
my opinion, and I can't think of another app which matches its feature
set and ease-of-use...

I agree completely. He has done a GREAT job! I love the app. You must not have an iPad. This is a major issue that can easily be addresses with this app. Just take a look at the link I provided. If we were allowed to edit all the fields this issue but be mute.

Progress cannot be made without deviation from the norm

Hey guys,

don't worry about that lack of activity in this group nor the recent lack of updates for iFlicks.

It had become to hard to keep up with all requests, this is why we moved to the dedicated help desk Zendesk, which you can find at http://support.iflicksapp.com It includes the possibility to send private support request and a forum for community discussions.

iFlicks will see a major update in the future. We are working hard on the update and incorporate all we have learned during the development of versions 1.x.
Processing of videos is almost finished and we are working out the quirks (works much much faster than 1.4), GUI updates to accommodate the new features are in a prototype stage (Support for all metadata field working, the rest looking great, but not yet fully functional) and rules are also seeing a major overhaul to make them much more powerful.

Due to our limited resources I expect it to be still a couple of month before the first beta versions are ready, but I am sure you won't be disappointed.
