Hi all,

I have just uploaded a new beta versions to http://www.iflicksapp.com/download/iFlicks_beta.dmg
This Version tries to overcome the problems with turbo.264 and mvk
files with subtitles. It also includes a bunch of new options for the
rules.

Please give it a try and let me know if you notice any problems.

Cheers,
Jendrik

Hey Jendrick, can i just ask, does iFlicks work with .sub/.idx files (external obv) which are basically dvd rips?? Does perian automatically load this when converting?

Jendrick does iFLick use themoviedb to search for movie? I added a movie and try to get the data, but iFlicks cannot find it. What's going on?

I add info to movies all the time and have experienced that it just takes time for their database to be updated.....
Give it another try after a short wait

Without deviation from the norm... progress is not possible.

Well it still isn't appearing in the database..

OH and one massive problem.. (relating to the latest beta)

iFlicks FAILS badly for any files that are 720p/1080p with preset AppleTV. I loaded like 10 files, and it's been stuck on loading for 2 hours now. Might have to go back to handbreak AGAIN..

According to the Perian Changelog idx/sub subtitles are supported since version 1.1.3. Without testing this I don't know how exactly this will be handled by Perian.

Please give me the name, so I can manually check if the video is returned by the API.

The movie is called The Great Happiness Space
as you can see here is 2 instance of this in the database yet iFlicks cannot detect either.

I have just checked this. The movie is still not returned by the api. For more details how TMDB does its caching have a look at http://forums.themoviedb.org/topic/233/api-caching/

Looks like i might have to give it a week now.

Why is it that in the latest iFlicks version it's not automatically fetching the content rating? I never had a problem with this before..

Content ratings are only fetched for TV Shows. Content Ratings for movies are not yet available on TMDB, but as soon as they are iFlicks will add them automatically.
