Looking at this as a replacement to Subler

importing features. MUCH better than subler and the random crap you
get from tagchimp. However, I have some HD files that I want to import
into iTunes, but also have an SD version handy. With Subler all I
have to do to do this is make sure that the contentID meta tag is the
same on both the HD and the SD file. iTunes will then have one
listing with HD+SD beside it. Can I do this in iflicks?
Also, I'm ripping all my DVDs with handbrake. Is the proper procedure
in iFlicks to import all the files, update metadata, then flatten to
Quicktime movie? Seems like I should be able to just save the
metadata like in subler.
Lastly, Subler has a "Optimize" feature that I was told to use on all
my ripped files and now I'm reading that the new update to the ATV2
breaks your movies unless this "optimize" is done. Does iFlicks do
this?

Yes. It tries to do this automatically whenever possible. Just make sure that metadata for the vides are found.
If it does not work, just let me know. (Send a feedback report from within iFlicks)

If the input file is mp4/m4v and you use the "Flatten to QuickTime Movie" preset it will do just that.

Yes. It does this internally in a couple places to achieve best compatibility with the Apple TV.
