We are happy to announce officially the creation of a new communication channel for IT in libraries : the IT Section Facebook group.

Feel free to submit any post related to IT in libraries and documentation centers:

• IT management, training and policy issues
• text mining, machine learning, natural language processing, AI
• robotics and automation
• digital transformation
• technology sustainablity and equitable access
• communication and collaboration platforms
• data management and analytics

 

People wishing to involve in regular moderation and posting are welcome, too (please note that it’s not mandatory to be an IT Section standing committee member to participate). You can contact Ray Uzwyshyn (who built and set up the group), Wouter Klapwijk or myself for any question (email addresses in Cc).
