Price of Peace

a room-game written by Bill Cowern, William Haddon and Mike Paxton.
produced by Mike Paxton

Welcome to the Vineyards at Arcanum!

Once, the Vineyards at Arcanum was not an inn, but the Arcanum Tower, a stronghold of the mageguilds, known as neutral territory where they could meet and negotiate without fear of attack.  Located near the great crossroads of southern Aran, the Tower has long stood as a place for negotiation and truce.

Borrowing from its ancient tradition, the Vineyards’ owner, Condor, made sure the Vineyards was a neutral territory, and soon officials and nobles from all over the continent were making the journey to hold their discussions in Condor’s guaranteed privacy.

Now managed by the wizard Eudorus, the Vineyards is committed to the same levels of class, discretion and privacy as in ancient times.  For this reason the delegations of Avendarrr and LoST chose it to hold their negotiations.  They will come together and attempt to find some answer for the senseless violence of the Battle of the Triune Gates and Three Pools Monastery.

That is where we are left today, on this day of all days, when the price of peace must be paid.

For this bargame, no one new will be allowed to enter after 7:00 pm, and at that same time, players will be unable to quit/leave the bargame without possibly fatal consequences to their character.  Please keep this in mind while planning your attendance.
