Hi Everyone

I am attaching the iFEVR and iphYs satellite meeting programs. The meeting is happening on November 20, the day after the main IEPA meeting in Tokyo (November 17-19). You are invited to take part in either meeting or indeed in both.

Registration is limited to the first 100 people and is free.

You can register at

I hope that you will be able to join us at this meeting.

Kind regards

Eóin

Hello,

If you can provide a summary of the meeting for those who cannot attend that would be much appreciated. I am interested in a summary of the symposium as well. As an EPI family service user I have returned to university to research and develop a post-genomic rights based mental health sociology to support the long-term health of individuals with schizophrenia. My work considers the link between maternal health and poverty and the development of inflammatory schizophrenia in Indigenous communities. I consider health inequality in Indigenous populations, which  involves a historical review of genomics in policy and psychiatric research.

At Oxford Brookes University in the U.K I am assessing the role of mobile genetic elements (HERV-W family in particular) in major psychoses. As a part of PhD work I hope to evaluate the long-term impact of classical medications on HERV related inflammatory schizophrenia. I am interested in current work in EPI on metabolic syndrome to assist with this.

Thank you....enjoy productive meetings.

Best wishes,

Terry-Lee

Hi Eoin,

Hope life at home with your newly expanded family is going well.  Do I need to register?
