Hi Everyone,
An Interim Executive Committee was required for the formation of our Alumni Association so that pre-formation activities like registration, organizational formalities etc may be carried out smoothly and with certain accountability. The first executive committee is difficult to be elected by normal election procedures as there is no any organizational setup, hence deemed nomination was the only way in consultation with seniors, super seniors, senior faculty etc. It was felt that the first Executive Committee should have maximum office bearers from Lucknow itself so that it is convenient for them to devote more time in various activities required to ensure the proper initial grooming up of our association. Hence the following Executive Committee is suggested so that it may take up some important pre- formation works like meeting with Director IET,
recognition by Institute, documentations for registration, registration, Association bank account formalities etc before 31st May '09
President
Sunita Sharma, PPS
1989 Batch Electronics & Communication. Presently SP rank officer & Head, Wireless Centre UP Police, Lucknow. A socialite and member of several other such Institutions. She has been always very supportive to the students of IET.
Vice President
Bandana Sinha
1989 Batch Computer Science. Presently Global Delivery Head (LifeSciences and HealthCare ISU) at Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore. She has been instrumental in initiating the idea of Alumni Association & she supported loads of student activites during her tenure at TCS Lucknow office.
General Secretary
Mayank Pant
1990 Civil. Successfully running his own Engineering Consultancy Firm, Shah & Pant Construction Engineering Pvt Ltd (Halwasiya Complex, Lucknow), along with O P shah, another alumnae of the Institute. He is a strong support for students in their various activities especially ENCORE etc.

Vinay Chandra, PPS
1992 Batch Electrical. Presently DSP rank officer & CO Chowk, UP Police, Lucknow. Highly creative and a person who was always involved in various activity while in college and after.

Rajeev Tivari
1995 Batch Mechanical. Presently Manager in BHEL, Noida. He had been dynamic in organizing several Alumni Meets at Delhi. Always
supports student in their various activities at Institute.
Treasurer
Tanvir Tahir
1992 Batch MCA. Presently faculty at Computer Science Dept, IET Lucknow. He is the sole guardien of Institute's website and takes part actively in all student activities. He may serve as an active link between the association and the Institute.
The above Executive Committee is subject to ratification on 31st May 2009 Meet.
