Dear All,
The first Meeting of IETLAA Executive Committee was convened on 01.06.09 in Lucknow. Following decisions were made:
1. Office will be set up at a room in IET campus allotted by Director IET, with a sign board (with Names & contact nos of EC members), letter/suggestion box, Almirah, chair table etc.
2. About 65 on spot memberships were subscribed on 31.05.09. Registration of 2000 alumni is target set for the first year. This shall be distributed among various chapters including Lucknow office.
3. M/s Sanjay, Rajiv & Co will be the CAs for the Association.
4. Chapters shall report to the President/General Secretary once in every three months.
5. The website shall have features like Alumni of the Month, special features of our Institute etc so as 'to build Institute's USP'.
6. There shall be a 'news' link on our website which will show decisions of EC, happening in Institute's, articles, activities etc.
Further, the chapterwise distirbution of registrations to be done in the first year is planned as below:
US : 500
UK & Other countries : 200
Lucknow & surrounding regions of North India : 500
NCR : 300
Bangalore & South India : 250
Mumbai & everything else : 250
UK & Other countries : 200
Lucknow & surrounding regions of North India : 500
NCR : 300
Bangalore & South India : 250
Mumbai & everything else : 250
All the chapter heads are requested to kindly take note of the above.
