What have you guys been up to?
Yep, it's us again:)
And we have TWO last surprise items for you guys
WHEN AND WHERE TO COLLECT YOUR SURPRISE ITEMS
(1)WHEN: 16th May between 15:00 to 16:15
(2)WHERE: North Campus Fitting Area
We need your cooperation in handing you the presents and this is how we would like to proceed.
On Graduation Day (16th May), the organizers will be standing by at the North Campus Fitting Area between 15:00 to 16:15 so you can pick the items up before/after the “gown fitting”
We know it is a huge favour we are asking of you to come to school earlier than the official schedule requires.
We believe it makes sense logistically to hand the items here so you can check-in the 2 items at the cloak room and so you won’t be bothered with them throughout the ceremony.
Do not panic if you do not manage to collect the items before the ceremony.
The organizers will be making rounds after the ceremony for those who were unable to collect them before.
For those who will not be attending the Graduation Ceremony, we ask you to contact Kaz ASAP and we will work things out (kazu1...@gmail.com).
SURPRISE ITEM #1:PHOTO ALBUM
Remember all the group photos we took during Japan trek?
And the zillion photos the organizers insisted on taking?
Well, Daisuke's been putting them together to create a photo album for everyone to keep.
It's been beautifully printed and is now ready to be handed to you all on Graduation Day.
SURPRISE ITEM #2:REFUND
With all the haggling Kaz and Kenji did with the travel agency and the bank, you will be receiving a refund in Euros.
We will be refunding the money in cash in an envelope on Graduation Day together with the album.
The refund amount is something between 170 to 270 Euros depending on the tour options you chose.
(1)The refund breakdown is:
*Hiroshima Option 30 euros
*Basic 230 euros
*Extra nights 5 euros/night
(2)Some of you will be charged for the following accounts:
*Karaoke on 19th April 30euros
*Other miscellaneous charges that were not settled
Please note that the above amount is a ballpark figure, and the details will depend on each person.

Dear Sensei Shihori (I googled to make sure it also applies to women), Sensei Kazu,
I'm delighted to hear about the photo album and am looking forward to all the pictures... I've seen Daisuke's work and it's amazing! Since I won't be attending graduation - I needed to be in Mexico these days and logistics were complicated - I would kindly ask you to hand it to Santiago Ordonez.
With regard to the refund - unbelievable considering I was telling someone yesterday what a bargain the trip was - I want to give back to that great country of yours and especially to all the wonderful people we came across, including all of you.Thus I found a great charity (http://fukushima-kids.org) that aims to provide educational and fun vacations to kids from Fukushima, who are forced to spend most of their days indoors as the contamination levels are still a little dangerous.
If you can please proceed with the donation through the Japanese website, otherwise it's fairly easy to donate through this site http://www.globalgiving.org/donate/11996/fukushima-kids-executive-committee/ so if it's easier for you to hand out the money in cash, please give it to Santy or Christian Wingenfeld and I'll proceed with the donation through that site.
