Hi all,

       As you may have heard, we are very aggressively recruiting volunteers for our Spring Festival on May 11 and are still pretty far below the number of volunteers that we need. An event of this size with many moving parts will require lots of hands to help things run smoothly. I know we all already contribute much time to the PTA but there are a few ways I am hoping you could help:

1. Consider volunteering for a 2 hour shift at the event (sign up here). I am especially hoping we can get some more help for the registration tables. Those volunteers will be handling money, so I'd prefer to have individuals we know and trust (like yourselves!) in those roles if possible. If the assigned time slots don't work for your schedule or you only have an hour available, we can make that work! Just let Laurie George know (our amazing Volunteer Coordinator for the event!) and we will figure it out.

2. Spread the word to your personal networks and forward on the link. I know this is the time of year when everyone is busy and has many commitments, but if each of us could just convince 1 or 2 people people to volunteer some time, we would be in great shape. Middle and high school students can be great volunteers as well, so please pass the message along to anyone you think might be a good candidate.
