给大家转发一下小学STEAM night的信息，上周五发在cheetah chatter上的。上次steam night还是2016年，这两年因为没有志愿者组织就停了。我觉得还是个挺好的给孩子培养兴趣的机会，所以今年pta会议上我报名加入committee,帮助technology teacher Mrs. Kettering来办今年的活动，报名截止3/29，附件里是guidelines。

这个活动是孩子选择一个科技有关的project,家长在家指导完成，包括做一个展板，活动当晚拿过去展览。需要facilitator的大人志愿者，每人负责看几个孩子的展览，问些问题，然后给发个证书。我们家长大多是STEM领域的，希望大家能报名当facilitator, 报名表上有个选项。家里没有小学生，但是愿意来帮忙当facilitator的，请给我联系，谢谢！

STEAM Night is back for 2019!!

Mark your calendar for Wednesday April 24, 2019 from 6:30-7:30pm. If your child has a natural love for science, mathematics , engineering, arts or technology then this is for you. Students should complete the entire project at home, including a display board with their STEAM findings.
