Updating scipy breaks iep

Hi,

Per instruction, I tried to update scipy in iep by saying "conda update scipy". The update seemed to work fine. When it completed, I quit iep and tried to restart. I got a splash screen, but then the app quit.

I had to move the pyzo distro to the trash and recopy it to get iep up again.

What did I do wrong?

Mac OS El Capitan.
