Synopsis
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a multi-stage tax on domestic consumption. GST is charged on all taxable supplies of goods and services in Malaysia except those specifically exempted. GST is also charged on importation of goods and services into Malaysia. Domestic consumption includes services provided by the professional. This seminar will provide an overview of GST in Malaysia. The speaker will share on the fundamental and concept of GST as well as the requirement prior to become a GST registered person. The seminar will include the treatment for engineering services and preparation prior to the GST implementation. The seminar will also highlight the GST treatment on construction services, transitional issues and GST readiness.

The Institution requests all members co-operation in ensuring fees are paid in advance to the seminar.
