The featured time lapse combines Iowa DOT Snow Plow locations, Winter Road Conditions, and an IEM generated NWS RADAR Mosaic. The lapse covers Tuesday morning till Thursday evening of this week. The lapse nicely illustrates the focused and hard work that snow plow operators put in battling the snow. You can additionally see the areas of precipitation on RADAR move over the state and provoke a snow plow response. The areas that received snow over this period also had to deal with blowing snow with the strong winds. Thank you snow plow drivers for your efforts to increase our driving safety!
