**No registration fee for postgraduates and postdocs**

For the students/postdocs whose paper is accepted and willing to come to Hong Kong for presentation(both oral or poster),we will cover 4 nights on campus accommodation and 3 days meals.

Background

With the focus placed on postgraduate students, the workshop is designed fundamentally to provide a platform where cross-links can be established among postgraduates from different continents in the East Asian region.

Therefore, this workshop will not only garner significant attention from the academic circle in the East Asian region, but most importantly, it will provide a unique opportunity for postgraduate students to take the podium themselves in a research conference that will be organized and participated by postgraduate students.

Workshop Objectives:

• To provide a unique platform specifically for postgraduates and postdocs

• To initiate communication and establish collaboration in the East Asian region

• To explore the interdisciplinary nature of nanoscience and technology research

• To discuss the theories, simulations, experiments and applications in nanoscience and technology

• NEMS / nanomachines

• Nanostructures and fabrication
