A Proposal for IEEE Student Branch Activity

Dear Student Branch members:

To celebrate the 125 anniversary of IEEE, I propose to hold a meeting in our branch. The first part of the meeting will be an open discussion of the latest innovations in our interesting fields, created by the pioneer IEEE Fellows and members. You are free to tell us about this dynamics in your field and how does it promotes your researches to inspire the creativity of other people. After the open discussion, I will give a brief report of current status of our student branch. The meeting may be held in Friday afternoon this week (Sep 18, 2009). What is your idea about it? Thank you!

尊敬的会员：

为迎接IEEE成立125周年，我建议在我们华中科大分会举行一次会议。

首先将对我们感兴趣领域内由IEEE院士和会员所引导的创新进行一个开放讨论。你可以告诉大家在你研究的领域的最新动态及它们是如何影响激励你的研究的，希望这一学术交流可以给我们中的其他人的研究注入灵感。在开放讨论之后，我将对我们学生分会当前的状态作一个简要的报告。这次活动可能在这周五下午举行。在此倾听大家的建议和意见。谢谢！
