Hi all,

Cloud-Native Geospatial Forum (CNG) has launched its Mentorship Pilot Program, an initiative connecting geospatial professionals with mentees for 6-months of one-on-one guidance.

The program runs from May – October, and will culminate with an optional inn-person meetup at CNG Forum 2026 in Snowbird, Utah. We're starting with a small cohort so we can make thoughtful matches and learn what makes these relationships work with the goal of building something that scales.

Mentor–Mentees pairs will meet at least twice a month for an hour each session. We're matching across three areas: general guidance, technical guidance, and project focused.

For more information on who should apply, and what we're looking for in mentors, please read this blog post

Applications are open now and close on April 30. We'll finalize pairings in early May and be in touch before the kickoff training.

→ Apply to be a mentor here and to a mentee here.

We'd love to see strong representation from across the geospatial community in this first cohort. Please feel free to share this with anyone who might be a good fit and reach out if you have any questions.

Best,

Louisa Diggs

Director of Operations
