If we are starting simply, how about a bristlebot race.

Mark and I had talked about this and in order to do this succesfully we would have to contruct a track for the bots. It could be made with a few yard sticks to make narrow corridors for the bots to travel. If left in the open they could easly turn into all different directions.

It could be a wide track (say a ping pong table). The goal would be to
design something that would track linearly. If not it would be
entertaining anyway. This could be for those in EE who want to make
these bots anyway. We could fashion some sort of simple barrier.

Sounds good to me. We need to find a table first, I'm not sure if the
school will let us use their ping-pong table as it is for the students
use. But I'm positive we can find a better table around here.
