what current members have to share

Being a membe IEEE-IISc I suggest the coming branch members may put following up in priority list:
(a) outreach programme
(b) across depts. talks by student/faculties
(c) making the electronics community more vibrant
(d) web site more interactive

(e) make an audio-podcost repository of interviews by budding/bubbling
researchers in IISc and host it in a proper web place; a very good example of this is http://omegataupodcast.net/category/podcast-en/

I have talked with many friends across depts. I see a very good platform through which IEEE-IISc Student Branch can make depts. come closer.

It would be an immense resource to have a member from every dept.

For this many of us have to extend our support as we have done.
I feel, we should take new members only after knowing why they wish to join, we want a team at the end which want to make IEEE-IISc Branch do something and not just remain a name. Uday and et al. have achieved this and we should hope and make the branch aim even higher.

Great idea Neeraj. Thanks for sharing your valuable inputs with the team.

Yes, we can conduct student seminars and post audio/video interviews or presentations of IISc students/faculties on IEEE-IISc student branch website. This will increase the visibility and will also encourage the IISc fraternity to participate actively in the branch activities.

Great Idea Neeraj.

The Audio-podcast repository of interviews/presentations by student researchers and RA/TA in IISc will be a great medium of interaction.

We need to "recruit" new members than just invite them to the team. We need to build the group as a greater interaction platform. Another point to add to Neeraj's list is to increase the visibility of IISc SB in the students and officials eyes. Make it much more reachable and accessible.

Wishing all the team members a happy and prosperous new year with joy, pride and love to all.
