Admission to IISc-UG research Program:

How many students are expected to be admitted in a batch?

The Institute plans to offer admission to about 120 students. Seats will be allotted to general and special categories as per Government regulations.

Which are the entry channels to get admitted to the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme?

To save additional burden of an entrance exam on the overtaxed 12th standard students, the Institute will make use of the merit lists of existing highly competitive national level entrance exams such as KVPY, IIT-JEE (Main and Advanced) and AIPMT. Students desirous of applying to the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme must take at least one of the above examinations.

Thanks.

Good day.
