I am trying to buy a server from Dell and cannot get a straight
answer. It was originally configured with a Onboard SATA, 1 Drive
connected to Onboard SATA Controller - No RAID connected to a single
500GB 7.2K RPM Serial ATA 3Gbps 3.5-in Cabled Hard Drive, Primary

Unfortunately the promotion ended before I could buy the box (now this
option is $250 more)

What I would to know is if the configuration below could give be
configured to have 500gb available as if it was one drive:

Onboard SATA, 2 Drives connected to Onboard SATA Controller No RAID

Primary Drive:
250GB 7.2K RPM Serial ATA 3Gbps 3.5-in Cabled Hard Drive, Primary

Secondary Drive:
250GB 7.2K RPM Serial ATA 3Gbps 3.5-in Cabled Hard Drive, Additional

If not, would this give me 500GB total drive space configured as a C
and D drive? It makes sense that it would but the Dell rep was very
reluctant to answer this question and I wanted to check with an
objective source.

Thanks
Dave
