Asagidaki mesaj her ne kadar yeni kurulan ogrenci kollarimiz icinse de
aslinda hepiniz icin bir bilgilendirme mesaji icermektedir.
Universitelerinizde IEEE SB oldugunu varsayarak hepinizin aslinda
istediginiz branslarda SBC (SB-Chapter) kurabilme hakkinizin oldugunu
iletmek isterim. Asagidaki mesaj, her ne kadar IAS (Industrial
Applications Society) Chapter icinse de prosedurler benzer. IAS, ayni
zamanda her yeni kurulan SBC icin 500USD verebilecegini soyluyor :)

Please accept my congratulations on your newly created Student Branch.
I wish you all the best to your activity.
Being responsible for chapter coordination in the IEEE Region-8 and
the IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS), it is my great pleasure
to invite you to join IAS by creating a Student Branch IAS Chapter in
your Student Branch. IAS is a middle-size Society with approx. 10,000
members and presently 132 regular and 6 student branch, total 138,
chapters. Currently, two SB chapters and one regular chapter are under
creating. So, we have practically 141 chapters. The large number of
chapters, which is ~2.5-times higher than the average, indicates the
popularity of the IA Society.

May I inform you that IAS provides US$500 starting subsidy for all new chapters.
