to IEEE Robotics UIC
started making the backpack.
the process
1. going to make a mold of my back
2. heat up plexiglass in an oven and shape it around the mold
3. put foam under the backpack for comfort
First got an old shirt and covered it in petroleum jelly, covered my
exposed skin with old newspaper to protect from burns.
Layered plaster and continued applying layers once I got it off my
body. Smoothed the inside with sanding paper.
Dug a hole in gravel for the mold, for support. So that when cement
was poured inside the mold it wouldn't crack.
Going to attach pics of the process in the next email/post
