Dear R10 Section Chairs,
Greetings from IEEE Region 10 Section Chapter Committee (SCC).
We would like to invite applications in supporting your Section to conduct a Section Chapter Coordination Programme.
About the Support
The IEEE R10 SCC invites Call for Interest from Sections to organize an exclusive "Section Chapter Coordination Programme" to share guidelines and best practices among the organizational units (OUs) of the Section.
Eligibility:
- Sections from IEEE Region 10 is eligible to apply.
- Chapters/ Affinity Groups are not eligible. (Please reach out to your respective parent Section)
- Each Section can submit only one proposal.
- Proposal submission needs to be endorsed by the Section Chair.
Criteria for Selection
- Uniqueness of the events
- Positive impact to the section and its chapters/societies
- Decision of R10 Section Chapter Committee is final.
Funding details:
- Minimum of two and maximum of three sections will be selected to be supported by R10 SCC.
- Up to USD 300 for each selected section in alignment with Region 10 Matching Fund Policy
- A Large Section’s project (1501 members or more) may be eligible to receive support up to 50% of the total approved fund.
- A Medium Section’s project (501 to 1501 members) may be eligible to receive support up to 70% of the total approved fund.
- A Small Section’s project (less than 500 members) may be eligible to receive support up to 90% of the total approved fund.
Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: June 5, 2024
- Acceptance Notification: June 15, 2024
- Event to be organized from: July to Oct 2024
