Dear Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Nur Ashida Salim,

I hope this message finds you well. On behalf of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Malaya, I am writing to seek the support of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Malaysia Chapter for our annual Final Year Project (FYP) presentations.

The Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya will be holding Engenius Week 2024 as an annual conference. Engenius Week 2024 features the Final Year Project (FYP) and Integrated Design Project (IDP) courses for each Bachelor of Engineering program. Through the FYP and IDP projects, students will showcase their overall research or design projects. The Final Year Project is a significant component of our Bachelor of Electrical Engineering program, where final year students demonstrate their innovative projects, research findings, and technical skills developed throughout their studies.

To ensure the success of the event, we are seeking generous support from IEEE PES Malaysia Chapter in the form of cash, plaques, and/or certificates. The donated prize will be awarded to students whose FYP project is related to the field of power and energy. Such recognition from IEEE would greatly motivate our students and add tremendous value to their academic and professional journeys.

The FYP presentations are scheduled on 11 and 13 June 2024 while the awarding ceremony is scheduled to take place on 14 June 2024 (Friday) at Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya.
