Two day workshop on "Recent Trends in Power Electronics and its Applications" is being organized by IEEE PES/IAS/PELS Hyderabad Chapter on 22^nd-23^rd September, 2011.

Date: 22nd and 23rd Sep, 2011.

Venue: Padmasri Dr. B V Raju Institute of Technology,Vishnupur, Narsapur, Medak District – 502 313. 

Important Dates:

Last Date for registration: 15^thSeptember, 2011.

Course Contents:

 This workshop covers Topologies of multilevel inverters, control of multilevel inverters using various PWM methods like Sinusoidal PWM, Selective Harmonic Elimination, 60 degrees PWM, Space Vector Modulation etc., and their simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Registration Fee:

Faculty IEEE Member         : Rs. 250/-

Faculty non-IEEE Member : Rs. 450/- 

Student IEEE Member         : Rs. 50/-

Student non-IEEE Member : Rs. 150/-

     

      The payment should be made by Cash/Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Principal, BVRIT”, payable at SBH, Narsapur.

Note: The scanned copy of DD and IEEE membership card must be sent through mail along with the filled brochure on or before 15^th September, 2011.

Hospitality:

1.        Transportation facility will be provided to all the participants in college buses which ply from all parts of Hyderabad City.

2.        Accommodation will be provided at      college campus on prior intimation.

3.        Lunch and Snacks will be arranged.

Note:  TA/DA will not  be paid for the participants
