Call for Proposals, Volunteers, Feedback and Free PES Student Memberships

Dear IEEE, PES/IAS/PELS, Members,

 

As we look ahead 2012, it is filled with exciting new happenings!! 2011 was significant for PES/IAS/PELS and we brought several global accolades, including globally Outstanding IAS Chapter Award, High performing PES Chapter Award, Outstanding Engineer Award by our Volunteers and all these makes we all feel very proud. We were honored with increased prominence in India through National level programs, Prestigious Awards and also received better than ever appreciation globally.

 

We know these all were the untiring and extensive efforts of Volunteers and the critical Feedbacks we received from you all. This year, greater emphasis will be on bringing proficiency in emerging technologies and towards gaining know-how of innovative practices in the Power & Energy, Power Electronics and Industrial Application space. We also plan to begin experiential learning programs, webinars, cultivate mentoring projects and proposes to organize more educational activities for the members from academia to accelerate innovation.

 

Call for Proposals ::

As we move forward, for us to make these achievements and gallant to be sustainable over the longer term, we believe that we must generate more Volunteers, identify unexplored areas and receive critical Feedback from you all to recognize the lacunas and progress further. You may let us know what you are expecting in the coming years and if you have any proposals, let us know by filling our online form at IEEE PES Event Planner/Requisition form for Year 2012-2014 or if wish to partner with us in bringing technological innovation for the benefit of humanity. We are all ears, let us know by filling the Volunteering Self Nomination Form or mail us.

 

Call for Volunteers ::

At IEEE PES, we understand what it takes to achieve total best-in-class performance and we work extensively with our Volunteers. We recognize all volunteering and efforts through our annual Awards. We invite you to be a part of the elite leaders and make the most of this opportunity by nominating yourself here!.  The form has few deliberately selected options to make sure that you enjoy the pleasure being with the World’s Largest Professional Organization and Power & Energy Society. All our collective strength and commitment has enabled us to get thus far and We urge all IEEE Members to update their volunteering interests.

 

Call for Student Web designers ::

As you may have noticed, we have a brand new website. Many Thanks to the excellent work of PES Student Volunteers lead by our PES Student Coordinator.  Our updated website as become more interactive with greater functionality – we welcome feedback anytime as we want it to be the best site it can be! And be sure to follow us on Facebook and Google Groups! We have in pipeline a blog with posts from our industry experts where you can ask questions to mentors, an updated news section and a download section with all resources of our recent events to all who missed it! Now, if you are a Student Champion passionate in adding these additional features of our website, please let us know you through Volunteer Form or mail us.
