First of all let me define more clearly the purpose and meaning behind
this project.
This project is an aim to collaborate efforts of students of NSIT and
other colleges via a common link called IEEE.
Collaboration always brings with it fresh ideas, creativity, and adds
different and useful perspectives to the project.
The aim is to collaborate with students of Bombay and also maybe in
future with other colleges.
Nature of Project
---------------------------
The exact nature of the project hasnt been decided as of now, but our
vision encourages us to work on following lines
A robot or mobile vehicle. The primary aim is to bring about a project
useful to the scientific and/or general community
The nature of work would involve
1) Mechanical Fabrication and designing of the machine
2) Electronics Hardware (eg batteries, solar cells etc.)
3) Coding and Other work related to the computer science department
So in all we have a multi-faceted work task ahead.
Nature of Team

There would be from each college
1) 2-3 Electronics Hardware people
2) 3-4 Mechanical People
3) 2-3 Computer Science People
total 7-10 from each college
*People with sufficient experience must only participate
*1-2 students out of the team must take charge of handling PR work; ie
liasioning with students of other colleges
Faculty
-----------
There should be atleast one faculty member guiding each of the three
broad aspects of the work from EACH college.
It would also be good if we could involve for suggestions and guidance
faculty from Universities abroad . These would mainly be professors
involved in work relating to Robotics. They would guide us via email.
