Hello HRI community!
For the past several years, a group of dedicated volunteers has been writing up IEEE P3108,
Recommended Practice for Design of Human Subjects Studies in Human-Robot Interaction. As we plan to submit the document to IEEE for publishing this year, we are in need of new eyes to review it and point out what we’ve overlooked. The document is expected
to be 65-70 pages, however, reviewers are welcome to read & comment on a single chapter (Study Design, Participant Handling, Metrics & Measures, Study Execution, Study Reporting) rather than the full text. Reviews are informal, with as little or as much detail
as desired; what we need is a sanity check and to find out what we missed in our draft from those in other sub-fields of HRI. Those who review are also welcome to join the IEEE Standards Association Ballot group for P3108, which will be forming later this
summer.
>> Please
fill out this form to sign up to review, or feel free to email me back with any questions.
Thanks for your support - we hope this document will be a useful resource for the HRI community, particularly for new researchers. More contributors will help in making it a well-rounded and comprehensive guide, and we appreciate everyone’s time towards this
effort!
