14.10.2013 Meeting Report and Information About Changing Public Voting

Hey Team,

Denise, Stanley and me had meeting yesterday to discuss about public voting issues yerterday night.

We discussed about the current issues and new decision to change the rules to able to decreased the stress in the public competition.

There will be 2 steps:

Top 20 photos will be decided by public votes (deadline is still October 19th 23.59UTC)

Denise will create new selected judges in Pistacaway to decide Top 3 among these Top 20. These judges won’t know about the number of votes or any other other issues in the public competition.

This Judges will be selected by IEEE Staff randomly, Denise will print the photos and invite these people in a meeting room or lunch place and ask them to vote for the photos manually on papers. We will just announce as “Top 3 Prizes will be awarded by selected judges among Top 20” rather than explaining the details.

All decisions will be announced on Thursday, 24 October 2013.

This looks the fairest solution to decrease stress of the competition, in case public competition will getting hardest for everyone.
