Shane,

Nice job.

Dorian,

Any chance we can pick the date for the September BBQ (and make the
reservation with Boise Parks & Rec) in the next few days and include
that in the newsletter? That should also help the section with its
planning so it doesn't wind up as a last minute arrangement in August.

Hi Shane,

I have the following comments:

1) Would you be so kind as to change my following statement from:
"For the prior 22 years, I was a Mechanical & Materials Engineer wearing
a Physicist's lab coat."
To:
"For the prior 22 years, I was a Physicist in a Mechanical & Materials
Engineer's clothing."

The analogy was incorrect.

2) Under Current Officers heading on last page, please change the Boise
EDS Chapter Chair from Steven Parke to Nirmal Ramaswamy with email at:
drama...@micron.com.

Thank you!

Best Regards,
Steve Groothuis

Only think I notice is that the Web Page Officer should probably be
changed to me (Tyler Waite). I like the rest.

Shane:

The students of the micromouse teams tell me that the time for the
winning
mouse Stewie IV was 0:44+penalty and not 2:44+penalty.

Please remove the "two minutes and" before "fourty-four seconds" in
the
Micromouse article.

I guess we could push for that but I'm afraid that there's a whole
summer until the picnic happens and I think people will forget. I agree
that we should start planning for that, like reserve a spot. I wouldn't
do much more than that. We have to wait for students to come back to
school to start doing the rest of the work.
