Stack emissions calculations

Dear team, 

I tried to model a pulverized coal power plant in iecm 12 and 11.5 versions. All the specifications and coal usage have been kept the same in both versions. I observed the huge variation in stack emissions results despite all the coal characteristics and other parameters being the same. I am attaching a screenshot for both versions stack emissions tab. It would really be a great help if more clarity could be given on this.

Dear Mr. Goyal,

Thank you for your comment. A comparison between 11.5 and 12.0 versions was conducted, but the huge variation you mentioned was not observed. 

We want to highlight that the boiler efficiency algorithm was updated in version 12.0, which may be sensitive to coal quality. The relevant technical document is available at this link: https://www.uwyo.edu/iecm/_bfiles/documentation/202411_co-firing_preliminary.pdf.
