Dear Friends,

As we all celebrate the joy of the families whose loved ones were returned recently, we think about all the loss and try to find a balance between joy and sorrow.

Throughout the past two years we have continued to make a difference through bringing people together.  We are now in a position where we may have more opportunities to make a difference than we have ever had before.

The past two years were a remarkable manifestation of IEA's resilience as well as proactiveness, and the great amount of affinity Holy Land people find in it.  The first months were dedicated to working closely with existing groups and their coordinating teams, supporting them in general and empowering them in resuming their group's encounters.

Around May 2024 we were able to shift our focus to proactive initiative with outcomes that provide a lot of hope. A massive campaign on social media led, despite the ongoing war and what people may think, to hundreds of people signing up to join encounters! From all religions, regions, ages and walks of life.

Since then we have launched 15 groups in Nazareth, Lower Galilee, Haifa, Wadi Ara, Modi'in, Beersheba and several groups in Jerusalem, including one of teenagers.

With additional funding, we could do the following:

Our hope and plan is to empower this growing momentum with greater facilitation of new groups, increased capacity for existing encounter groups and new programs of activity to enhance interfaith encounter opportunities in the region.

A strategic grant we received from USAID played a major role in establishing this growth. As it was terminated together with the agency we now hope to be able to find other partners so that we can keep the growth rate and further grow it.

We are asking you to give generously as we approach our 25th year.  We will be having special celebrations in 2026 and will be sending details as the plans emerge.

Please see giving options below and DONATE HERE

Many thanks for your ongoing care and may true peace be a reality in our lifetime.

Yours,

Dr. yehuda Stolov
