Mount Scopus Youth Interfaith Encounter Group, October 16, 2025

The group met again, and we began the encounter with an introduction to welcome the new participants. Among them was a participant who came from the north and has been living in Jerusalem for several years, and another participant who is a student at the Hebrew University studying religions and Middle Eastern history.

 

After the introductions, the conversation began on the topic of hope and its relationship to the current reality, especially as we emerge from a difficult period following a long and painful war. The participants spoke about their feelings after the end of the war and the return of the kidnapped to their families after two years of absence, and how this brought some light back into their hearts, but also raised profound questions:

What is true hope for us today? Some participants felt that hope does not only mean the end of the war, but rather that we can live together in peace and security, regain our freedom and inner peace, and rebuild bridges of trust between people. One participant spoke about hope as a force that drives us to build a society that believes in peace despite the challenges, a society that learns to listen and understand without fear or hatred. Another participant shared his experience of hope in his community, asserting that no society can recover unless its members cling to hope as a source of energy and perseverance. A third participant discussed hope in Islam and the Torah, explaining how texts in both religions urge trust in God and hope, emphasizing that light follows darkness and that good is possible even after suffering. Through dialogue, it became clear that hope, for everyone, is not an abstract concept but a shared human experience embodied in simple acts: a meeting, a kind word, a hug, a helping hand, or even simply persisting in dreaming of a better future despite all that we have endured. At the end of the encounter, everyone felt that hope is not passive waiting but an inner energy that motivates us to build a new reality characterized by peace and humanity.

קבוצת המפגש הבין דתי בהר הצופים, 16 באוקטובר 2025

הקבוצה נפגשה שוב, ופתחנו את המפגש בהיכרות וקבלת פנים למשתתפים החדשים. ביניהם היה משתתף שהגיע מהצפון ומתגורר בירושלים מזה מספר שנים, ומשתתף נוסף שהוא סטודנט באוניברסיטה העברית הלומד דתות והיסטוריה של המזרח התיכון.

 

לאחר ההקדמות, החלה השיחה בנושא התקווה והקשר שלה למציאות הנוכחית, במיוחד כשאנו יוצאים מתקופה קשה לאחר מלחמה ארוכה וכואבת. המשתתפים דיברו על רגשותיהם לאחר סיום המלחמה וחזרתם של החטופים למשפחותיהם לאחר שנתיים של היעדרות, וכיצד הדבר החזיר מעט אור לליבם, אך גם העלה שאלות עמוקות:

מהי תקווה אמיתית עבורנו כיום? חלק מהמשתתפים חשו שתקווה לא רק פירושה סיום המלחמה, אלא שנוכל לחיות יחד בשלום ובביטחון, להשיב לעצמנו את חירותנו ואת שלוותנו הפנימית, ולבנות מחדש גשרי אמון בין אנשים. משתתף אחד דיבר על תקווה ככוח שמניע אותנו לבנות חברה המאמינה בשלום למרות האתגרים, חברה שלומדת להקשיב ולהבין ללא פחד או שנאה. משתתף נוסף שיתף את חוויית התקווה שלו בקהילתו, וטען שאף חברה לא תוכל להתאושש אלא אם כן חבריה נאחזים בתקווה כמקור אנרגיה והתמדה. משתתף שלישי דן בתקווה באסלאם ובתורה, והסביר כיצד טקסטים בשתי הדתות מעודדים אמון באלוהים ובתקווה, תוך הדגשה שאור מגיע אחרי חושך וכי טוב אפשרי גם לאחר סבל. באמצעות דיאלוג התברר שתקווה, עבור כולם, אינה מושג מופשט אלא חוויה אנושית משותפת המגולמת במעשים פשוטים: פגישה, מילה טובה, חיבוק, יד עוזרת, או אפילו פשוט התמדה בחלום על עתיד טוב יותר למרות כל מה שסבלנו. בסוף המפגש, כולם חשו שתקווה אינה המתנה פסיבית אלא אנרגיה פנימית המניעה אותנו לבנות מציאות חדשה המאופיינת בשלום ואנושיות.

مجموعة اللقاء بين الديانات في جبل المشارف 16 تشرين الاول 2025

التقت المجموعة مجددًا، وتم افتتاح اللقاء بجولة تعارف ترحيبًا بالمشاركين الجدد. كان من بينهم مشارك قدم من الشمال ويقيم في القدس منذ عدة سنوات، ومشارك آخر طالب في الجامعة العبرية يدرس الديانات وتاريخ الشرق الأوسط.

 

عقب فقرات التعارف، انطلق النقاش حول موضوع الأمل وعلاقته بالواقع الراهن، لا سيما في ظل الخروج من مرحلة صعبة أعقبت حربًا طويلة ومؤلمة. وتحدث المشاركون عن مشاعرهم بعد انتهاء الحرب وعودة المخطوفين إلى عائلاتهم بعد عامين من الغياب، وكيف أعاد ذلك شيئًا من النور إلى قلوبهم، لكنه في الوقت ذاته أثار تساؤلات عميقة:

 

ما هو الأمل الحقيقي بالنسبة لنا اليوم ؟ رأى بعض المشاركين أن الأمل لا يقتصر على نهاية الحرب فحسب، بل يتمثل في القدرة على العيش معًا بسلام وأمان، واستعادة الحرية والسلام الداخلي، وإعادة بناء جسور الثقة بين الناس. وتحدث أحد المشاركين عن الأمل بوصفه قوة دافعة تدفعنا إلى بناء مجتمع يؤمن بالسلام رغم التحديات، مجتمع يتعلم الإصغاء والتفهم دون خوف أو كراهية.

 

وشارك مشارك آخر تجربته مع الأمل في مجتمعه، مؤكدًا أن أي مجتمع لا يمكن أن يتعافى ما لم يتمسك أفراده بالأمل بوصفه مصدرًا للطاقة والمثابرة. كما تناول مشارك ثالث مفهوم الأمل في الإسلام والتوراة، موضحًا كيف أن النصوص في الديانتين تشجّع الثقة بالله والرجاء، وتؤكد أن النور يعقب الظلام، وأن الخير ممكن حتى بعد الألم.

 

ومن خلال الحوار، تبيّن أن الأمل، بالنسبة للجميع، ليس فكرة مجرّدة، بل تجربة إنسانية مشتركة تتجسّد في أفعال بسيطة: لقاء صادق، كلمة طيبة، عناق، يد ممدودة للمساعدة، أو حتى الإصرار على الحلم بمستقبل أفضل رغم كل ما مررنا به.

وفي ختام اللقاء، أجمع المشاركون على أن الأمل ليس انتظارًا سلبيًا، بل طاقة داخلية حيّة تحفّز الإنسان على الفعل، وتدفعه للمساهمة في بناء واقع جديد يسوده السلام والإنسانية.
