Midwives of Peace - October 31st, 2025
This encounter was the first since the cease-fire and the return of the Israeli hostages. Much has happened and is still going on in our lives. Therefore, we decided to discuss our thoughts and feelings, since we haven't had a chance so far to really speak among ourselves and listen to each other. The conversation was honest and sometimes painful.
After this deep conversation, Racheli gave a talk about a project which she was part of, an international health team which arrives in South Sudan to operate cleft lips for children and adults from all over the country. The project and Racheli's talk filled us up with hope and happiness!

מפגש זה היה הראשון מאז הפסקת האש והחזרת החטופים הישראלים. הרבה קרה ועדיין קורה בחיינו. לכן, החלטנו לדון במחשבותינו וברגשותינו, מכיוון שעד כה לא הייתה לנו הזדמנות לדבר באמת בינינו ולהקשיב זו לזו. השיחה הייתה כנה ולפעמים כואבת.
לאחר שיחה עמוקה זו, רחלי נתנה הרצאה על פרויקט בו השתתפה, צוות בריאות בינלאומי שמגיע לדרום סודן כדי לנתח שפתיים שסועות לילדים ומבוגרים מכל רחבי המדינה. הפרויקט וההרצאה של רחלי מילאו אותנו תקווה ואושר!

قابلات من أجل السلام - 31 تشرين الثاني 2025
كان هذا اللقاء هو الأول منذ وقف إطلاق النار وعودة الرهائن الإسرائيليين. لقد حدث الكثير وما زال يحدث في حياتنا، ولذلك قررنا أن نخصّص هذا اللقاء للحديث عن أفكارنا ومشاعرنا، إذ لم تتح لنا الفرصة سابقًا لأن نتحدث بصدق فيما بيننا ونصغي إلى بعضنا البعض.
كان الحوار صريحًا وفي بعض اللحظات مؤلمًا، لكنه أتاح مساحة حقيقية للتعبير والاستماع المتبادل.بعد هذا النقاش العميق، قدّمت راحِلي مداخلة حول مشروع شاركت فيه، وهو فريق صحي دولي يصل إلى جنوب السودان لإجراء عمليات جراحية لعلاج شقّ الشفة للأطفال والبالغين من مختلف أنحاء البلاد. وقد ملأ هذا المشروع، وكذلك حديث راحيلي، قلوبنا بالأمل والفرح.
