Women's Interfaith Encounter Group of Arad - Tel Arad - 2 encounters

We all huddled around Roseanne, our facilitator for the workshop. Attentive to instructions, questions, the words of our friends, and reactions. In the process, we also put some thought into answering the questions that Roseanne raised: How do you feel about the name you were given? What is its origin, and what meaning do you give it?

This was the opening to a series of five in-depth conversations in a workshop that would deal with intimate acquaintance, feelings, and thoughts about what is being built within our joint group of Bedouin and Jewish women from Arad and the unrecognized Bedouin settlement – Tel Arad, from the peripheral region of the eastern Negev. Seven and a half years ago we founded the group – Yehudit, Maliha, Kefaya and Batya.

At the end of the encounter we felt that these years had weight and now we are adding additional layers that tighten our special “togetherness” in a process that never ends, but enriches, expands and deepens.

Our path is not easy. We challenge cultural and language gaps, socio-economic and especially political situations. Despite the difficulty, we continue to go against the increasing tide of hatred and distrust between two different ethnic and religious groups who live their daily lives in a common space without separation, and yet at the end of the day the walls and gates are closed again and the separation is increasing.

We have created a safe place for ourselves. A place of trust, openness and neighborliness that goes beyond encounters. Yes, it is a process of trial and error that will always accompany us, but in the process knowledge is being accumulated, which grows from this place and will serve as a source of learning and inspiration, for many, we hope. Because this is the hope in this difficult land, here lies the seed of a good future for the Negev, for its resilience and ability to survive in times of crisis.

This week we went on a day trip; Next week and the week after, we will continue the discussions in the workshop.

As part of the trip, we went to a movement workshop in Sderot and a trip to Zikim Beach. The movement opened us up both personally and as a group. Bedouin and Jewish women listened to Michal's movement instructions and without hesitation moved with an openness that expanded hearts and breaths with a smile on their faces and joy in their souls.

The movement opened our appetites and so we sat down to hummus, tahini, falafel and salads with pita bread: "Just like our food," Basma noted with pleasure. We left empty plates and sipped tea/coffee with chocolate, and with full and happy bellies we sailed to Zikim Beach.

The stormy sea and the deserted beach widened our breathing even more. We built sand castles, walked on the beach and absorbed the sights of the crashing waves and the smell of the sea.

The conversations flowed naturally, sharing emotions, stories from home and just thoughts in a relaxed and effortless way.

Naomi captured everything on her camera and we all continued to derive pleasure from the experiences that filled us and recharged us with good and relaxing energies before returning to the stormy and difficult reality.

After seven years of activity, which were accompanied by many and varied experiences and conversations, it can be said that this is the first time that the feeling of friendship was different – deeper and more natural – on the many layers that became the foundation of our relationship, a new refreshing, good and joyful layer was poured. May we be able to persevere and continue in doing the common good, which holds the potential for realizing a good and constructive future in this region of the country.

כולנו הצטופפנו סביב רוזאן, המנחה שלנו בסדנה בה פתחנו. קשובות להוראות, לשאלות, לדבריהן של החברות ולתגובות. תוך כדי גם השקענו מחשבה כדי להשיב לשאלות שהעלתה רוזאן: מה אתן חשות לגבי השם שניתן לכן? מה מקורו ומה המשמעות שאתן מעניקות לו?

הייתה זו הפתיחה לרצף של חמש שיחות עומק בסדנה שתעסוק בהיכרות אינטימית, רגשות ומחשבות על מה שהולך ונבנה בתוך קבוצה משותפת של נשים בדואיות ויהודיות מערד ומהיישוב הבדואי הלא מוכר – תל עראד, מהאזור השולי של הנגב המזרחי. לפני שבע וחצי שנים הקמנו את הקבוצה – יהודית, מליחה, כפאיה ובתיה.

בסוף המפגש חשנו שיש משקל לשנים האלה ועכשיו מוסיפות רבדים נוספים שמהדקים את ה"ביחד" המיוחד שלנו בתהליך שאינו מסתיים לעולם, אך מתעשר, מתרחב ומעמיק.

לא קלה היא דרכנו. אנו מאתגרות פערי תרבות ושפה, מצב חברתי-כלכלי ובעיקר – פוליטי. למרות ועל אף הקושי, ממשיכות להלך נגד הזרם המתגבר של שנאה וחוסר אמון בין שתי קבוצות אתניות דתיות שונות החיות במרחב משותף את חיי היומיום ללא הפרד, ועדין בסופו של יום החומות והשערים שבים ונסגרים וההפרדה גוברת.

יצרנו לעצמנו מקום בטוח. מקום של אמון, גילוי לב ושכנות שמעבר למפגשים. כן, זה תהליך של ניסוי ותעיה שילווה אותנו תמיד, אבל תוך כדי מתהווה ידע שמצטבר, שצומח מהמקום הזה וישמש מקור לימוד והשראה, לרבים, אנו מקוות. כי זו התקווה בארץ הקשה הזו, כאן טמון זרע של עתיד טוב לנגב, לחוסנו ומסוגלותו לשרוד עתות משבר.

השבוע יצאנו לטיול בן יום; בשבוע הבא וזה שלאחריו, נמשיך בדיונים בסדנה.

במסגרת הטיול נסענו לסדנת תנועה בשדרות וטיול בחוף זיקים.

התנועה פתחה אותנו הן אישית והן קבוצתית. נשים בדואיות ויהודיות נשמעו להוראות התנועות של מיכל וללא הפרד התנועעו בפתיחות מרחיבת לב ונשימה בחיוך על הפנים ושמחה בנשמה.

התנועה עוררה את התיאבון וכך ישבנו על חומוס, טחינה, פלאפל וסלטים עם פיתות: "בדיוק כמו האוכל שלנו" ציינה בסמה בהנאה. הותרנו צלחות ריקות וקינחנו בתה/קפה עם שוקולד ועל בטן מלאה ושמחה הפלגנו לחוף זיקים.

הים הסוער והחוף השומם הרחיבו עוד את נשימתנו. בנינו ארמונות בחול, צעדנו על החוף וספגנו את מראות הגלים השוצפים וריח הים.

השיחות קלחו בטבעיות, חולקות רגשות, סיפורים מהבית וסתם הגיגים בצורה משוחררת ובלא מאמץ.

נעמי הנציחה הכל במצלמתה וכולנו המשכנו להפיק הנאה מהחוויות שמילאו אותנו והטעינו אנרגיות טובות ומרגיעות לפני החזרה למציאות הסוערת והקשה.

לאחר שבע שנות פעילות, שהיו רצופות בחוויות ושיחות רבות ומגוונות, ניתן לומר שזו הפעם הראשונה שתחושת החברות הייתה שונה – עמוקה וטבעית יותר - על הרבדים הרבים שהפכו לתשתית יחסינו, נוצקה שכבה חדשה מרעננת, טובה ומשמחת.

מי ייתן ונוכל להתמיד ולהמשיך בעשיית הטוב המשותף, שטמון בו פוטנציאל של מימוש עתיד טוב ובונה בחבל ארץ זה.

مجموعة اللقاء بين الديانات للنساء في عراد - تل عراد - لقاءان

تحلقنا جميعًا حول روزان.، ميسّرة الورشة التي افتتحنا بها اللقاء. كنا نصغي بانتباه إلى التعليمات، والأسئلة، وكلمات الصديقات وردودهن. وفي الوقت نفسه فكّرنا مليًا في الإجابة عن الأسئلة التي طرحتها روزان: ماذا تشعرن تجاه الاسم الذي أُطلق عليكن؟ ما مصدره؟ وما المعنى الذي تمنحنه له؟

كانت هذه مقدمة لسلسلة من خمس جلسات حوار عميقة ضمن ورشة ستتناول التعارف الحميمي، والمشاعر، والأفكار حول ما يتشكل ويتطور داخل مجموعة مشتركة من النساء البدويات واليهوديات من عراد ومن التجمع البدوي غير المعترف به -تل عراد، في المنطقة الطرفية من النقب الشرقي. قبل سبع سنوات ونصف أسسنا هذه المجموعة - يهوديت، مليحة، كفاية وباتيا.

في نهاية اللقاء شعرنا بوزن هذه السنوات، وبأن طبقات جديدة تُضاف الآن إلى تجربتنا المشتركة، تعزز ذلك “معًا” الخاص بنا، في مسار لا ينتهي أبدًا، بل يزداد غنىً واتساعًا وعمقًا.

طريقنا ليست سهلة. نحن نتحدى الفجوات الثقافية واللغوية، والواقع الاجتماعي-الاقتصادي، وقبل كل شيء الواقع السياسي. وعلى الرغم من الصعوبات، نواصل السير عكس التيار المتزايد من الكراهية وانعدام الثقة بين مجموعتين عرقيتين دينيتين مختلفتين تعيشان في مساحة مشتركة حياتهما اليومية دون انفصال. ومع ذلك، في نهاية كل يوم تعود الجدران والبوابات لتُغلق، ويشتدّ الانفصال.

لقد أنشأنا لأنفسنا مكانًا آمنًا: مكانًا للثقة والصراحة والجيرة التي تتجاوز حدود اللقاءات. نعم، إنه مسار من التجربة والخطأ سيرافقنا دائمًا، لكن في خضم ذلك يتكوّن معرفة تتراكم وتنمو من هذا المكان، ونأمل أن تكون مصدر تعلم وإلهام للكثيرين. فهذه هي بذرة الأمل في هذه البلاد الصعبة؛ هنا يكمن بذرة مستقبل أفضل للنقب، لقوته وقدرته على الصمود في أوقات الأزمات.

كعادتنا، نحن مجموعة الجارات من عراد وتل عراد نلتقي مرة كل شهر أو شهر ونصف. لكن في الفترة الأخيرة تصادف أن التقينا وسنلتقي عدة مرات متتالية، مرة كل أسبوع: لقاء أول في الورشة بإرشاد روزان لفحص العلاقات بيننا بعمق، وجسر الفجوات الثقافية، وتبادل الأفكار حول المجموعة في حوار شيق؛ ثم إضاءة الشموع في بيت إيلا؛ ثم اللقاء الثاني في الورشة بإرشاد روزان؛ وهذا الأسبوع خرجنا في رحلة ليوم كامل؛ وفي الأسبوعين القادمين سنواصل النقاشات في الورشة.

في إطار الرحلة سافرنا إلى ورشة حركة في سديروت، ثم إلى جولة على شاطئ زيكيم.

الحركة فتحتنا على أنفسنا وعلى بعضنا، كأفراد وكجماعة. نساء بدويات ويهوديات استجبن لتعليمات ميخال، وتحركن معًا بانفتاح يوسّع القلب والنَّفَس، بابتسامة على الوجوه وفرح في القلوب.

أيقظت الحركة الشهية، فجلسنا نتناول الحمص والطحينة والفلافل والسلطات مع الخبز: “تمامًا مثل طعامنا”، قالت بسمة بمتعة. تركنا الصحون فارغة، واختتمنا بشاي أو قهوة مع الشوكولاتة، ثم وعلى بطون ممتلئة وقلوب فرحة توجهنا إلى شاطئ زيكيم.

البحر الهائج والشاطئ الخالي وسّعا أنفاسنا أكثر. بنينا قصورًا من الرمل، وسرنا على الشاطئ، واستمتعنا بمشهد الأمواج المتلاطمة ورائحة البحر.

تدفقت الأحاديث بشكل طبيعي، نتشارك المشاعر وقصص البيت وأفكارًا عابرة بحرية ودون عناء.

وثّقت نعومي كل ذلك بكاميرتها، واستمررنا جميعًا في الاستمتاع بالتجارب التي ملأتنا وشحنتنا بطاقة جيدة وهادئة قبل العودة إلى الواقع المضطرب والصعب.

بعد سبع سنوات من النشاط المتواصل، المليء بالتجارب والحوارات المتنوعة، يمكن القول إن هذه هي المرة الأولى التي نشعر فيها بأن روح الصداقة مختلفة – أعمق وأكثر طبيعية. وعلى الطبقات العديدة التي أصبحت أساس علاقاتنا، أُضيفت طبقة جديدة منعشة وجميلة ومفرِحة.

ليتَنا نستطيع الاستمرار والمثابرة في هذا العمل المشترك نحو الخير، الذي يحمل في طياته إمكان تحقيق مستقبل أفضل وبنّاء في هذه المنطقة.
