I've heard of guys cleaning PCB's in the dishwasher (without detergent),
cant say I'd try it my self.
As for a keyboard... sounds crazy.

I once heard that a woman in New York put her cat in the microwave
because it got wet in the rain and I thought that it was an "Urban
Myth".
In case you are really serious ...
Do not stick forks into toasters
Do not do silly things to your body with vacuum cleaners
Do not put electronic equipment into dishwashers.
Do not put animals in dishwashers, microwaves or washing machines.
And now to be serious purchase a proper cleaner or use a cloth soaked
in Vodka. You might be able to use white spirit or meths but it might
discolour your keyboard.
Bren.
Or buy a new keyboard for £5 and spend the rest on more drink...

Just use isopropyl alcohol and some cotton swabs. And take the thing
outside, turn it upside down and shake from side to side. That gets
most of the yuks out.

I like .spaghetti but not in my email.
Much less expensive than using a dishwasher.
You should really purchase a proper cleaning fluid and a few proper
cotton buds (the long ones rather than the short fluffy kind) but if
you are stuck Vodka (which is very pure) is a very good substitute ...
you need only use a very small amount (less than 10P).
Anyway I was not being 100% serious.
"isopropyl alcohol" ... that's what I meant by a proper cleaner but I could
not remember how to spell it.
Thanks

Funny that. I always have problems pronouncing Eircom. My mouth goes all
funny, my eyes bulge and steam comes out my ears :-)

I think that's the correct pronunciation. :)
