Control colors in validator & video generator

Hi folks,

I really enjoy the new update! The validator and video generator has some very fun graphics. I personally struggle to see the light blue/teal color but can see all other colors just fine. I wonder if there is a way to be able to select color options for the tracked animals? Right now, I have 6 tracked animals throughout my entire experiment. It would be great to be able to pick some high contrast colors like brown, purple, or even black. Has anyone found a way to get something like that?

Hi Jon,

Thanks for reaching out and glad you like the updates! Currently the colors in the Validator and the Video Generator are picked up following the HUE color wheel. The Validator allows you to shuffle them but it is not possible to modify or set custom colors right now. I'll work a bit to allow single color modifications. If I manage, I'll include this in the next release.
