Updated user guide? How to set up?

Hi, I am very new to idTracker and coding/analyzing data in general. I've been trying to use the user guide to set up my parameters to analyze my first video, but I find that it's too outdated. Is there an updated user guide anywhere?

My biggest problem right now is that the program is recognizing my background as a live animal and I don't know how to exclude it. How do I make it red instead of green? (picture attached)
