This error is due to a bug in Matlab's video handling routines. For some formats, the system estimates a higher number of frames than the actual number. There are two ways to solve it:
- Transform the videos into a different format (taking care not to lose quality in the transformation)
- Exclude the last frames of the video from the analysis. This can be done by editing the field "tracking interval' in idTracker's interface. Excluding the last few frames is usually enough (typically only the last or two last frames give problems). You may check which ones are the problematic frames, by asking idTracker to show the last frames in the interface (editing the "current frame"). Any frame that is properly shown in the interface should be possible to analyze later on.
