Event Information Blessed by tropical climate, where one can potentially spend more time outdoors, Indonesian cities have the potential to create excellent public spaces. One of the indicators of a liveable city is the presence of accessible public spaces so residents can recreate and interact with each other. A well-designed network of parks, sports and play areas throughout the city can contribute to a healthy living environment for all its residents. Next to being beneficial for well-being and health, attractive parks and playing areas have positive effects on the physical, social and creative development for everyone, especially children. Through this webinar, IDN Liveable Cities would like to ask: What should cities provide to keep their residents of all ages healthy and active? With projects from South East Asia, the presenters would like to show exemplary practices and discuss with you how to successfully integrate outdoor public spaces into urban design.
