Hey all,

Found a site that has a few posts about irregular nouns - divides them into groups and is pretty helpul.

Bravo!  Grazie.

Here's another link from the same site with the REALLY tricky nouns. Those with irregular plurals:

http://www.tutorino.ca/grammatica/2007/8/7/irregular-italian-nouns-3-nouns-that-change-gender-in-the-pl.html

Some of these, like l'uovo / le uova -- the singluar and plural refer both to the same thing.

Others, like 'il muro -- i muri/le mure' change meaning.  i muri are the walls of a house, and le mure are the walls of a city.  And "il braccio i bracci/le braccia" -- i bracci are the "arms" of a lamp or cross, and le braccia are the "arms" of a person.

ciao!
gregory.
