Hello. could you please advise a typical spinnaker area for the Idle
Along. People over here (Ireland) won't believe my estimates for a
total sail area of such a small craft.

Hi Tom Tulloch
The spinaker dimensions are shown on the sail plan which can be seen on John Spencer's 1960 plan.
Too late at night for me to do that maths. If you do the calculations, please let us know.
From current rules (revised in 1990s)
Spinnakers may be double luffed or single luffed and must have a perimeter measurement of not more than 38 feet 9 inches.
