This Google Group was created in 2018 as a continuation of the Usenet group comp.lang.idl-pvwave, which was overrun by spam. It was for discussion of the Interactive Data Language (IDL), developed by NV5 Geospatial Corporation ( http://www.nv5geospatial.com/Products/IDL

). The NV5 forum ( NV5 Geospatial - Help Forums - ENVI & IDL | NV5 Geospatial - (nv5geospatialsoftware.com) ) is now preferable as a source of IDL information. The site http://www.idlcoyote.com/comp.lang.idl-pvwave/ was created to search the pre-2018 archives of the group, but currently (Jan 2025) does not appear to be working.
