Attention -All IDK Members

Dear IDK Friends,

As you all are aware we have fixed our ONAM celebrations for the 31^st of August 2012. All those who will be joining the celebrations will have to buy the Food Coupons from the respective volunteers of your sections for by the 15^th of August. Please note beyond this date no more collections will be accepted as the Onam Sadhya caterers needs to be informed and prepare the final numbers.

All those participants for the various programs at the Onam celebrations, please inform the program convener (Mr. Antony Joseph) the name of the event and the participants.

All the members who wish to avail the benefit of the contingency fund need to hand over KD 1/- to the respective section before the 5^th of every month. If the payment will not be received monthly, will not be eligible for the fund benefits. If there is anybody pending to clear the

KD 1/- till the month of July, kindly do so at the earliest to avoid inconvenience.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Its quite painful to hear talks amongst the members that IDK will not be operational once , the current president(that’s me) will retire. IDK was initiated with all good wishes to help its members and create gatherings to enhance good relationships. We have just started with baby steps by initiating various funds for the benefit of its members and just a few gatherings…. And we need to go a long way. Once I leave, my successor needs to be more active and take new initiatives for the growth of IDK, in turn support the growth of its members. I have many dreams with IDK. Each of us needs to place a foot forward to build the number of members by involving all the Indians in the various camps including the Military hospital Staff. Those who are not yet members need to come to IDK with the urge of being its member by seeing our unity and the benefits its members enjoy.

So there is a request from me, that lets stop such talks of closing up IDK as when these talks continue, the mind is also set to close it down. Lets behave and talk like Literate and social people instead of Narrow minded individuals and think of new ways to brighten the name of IDK amidst the other Indians working in the Defense of Kuwait.
